Prabhas-Starrer Spirit: Female Lead Confirmed

The much-anticipated action thriller Spirit, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and starring Prabhas, is progressing swiftly through pre-production. With the script finalized, the director is making preparations to begin filming soon, with initial schedules planned in Mexico. Prabhas will portray a police officer for the first time in his career, marking a significant departure from his previous roles. The film is being developed as a pan-Indian project and will be released in nine languages, including Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, English, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean. Reports indicate that South Korean star Ma Dong-seok is set to play the antagonist, adding an international dimension to the cast.

In a recent announcement, Sandeep Reddy Vanga confirmed that Tripti Dimri has been signed as the female lead, putting to rest earlier speculation involving other Bollywood actresses. Tripti’s name appears across all language versions of the project, underscoring her key role in this global venture. The music composition is underway with Harshavardhan Rameshwar on board. Expressing her excitement, Tripti Dimri said, “I am deeply grateful to Sandeep Reddy Vanga for trusting me with this opportunity and for making me part of his visionary film.” Tripti, known for her performance in Vanga’s Animal and its upcoming sequel Animal Park, continues to build a strong presence in Bollywood with several noteworthy projects. The Spirit team is expected to release more details as the film moves closer to production.
