After his impressive act in Kalki 2898AD in a futuristic role, Prabhas is set to entertain in diverse characters in his upcoming films like The Raja Saab, Fauji and Spirit. In The Raja Saab, Prabhas will appear in dual roles as an uber cool youngster and as a grey-haired old man. He recently wrapped crucial portions of this horror thriller which has Telugu filmmaker Maruti as director.

As per the latest reports, Prabhas now shifted his focus towards war drama Fauji which was recently announced with a bang. Fauji is set in pre-independence era and the story is reportedly inspired by real incidents during freedom struggle. The regular shooting commenced last month without Prabhas.

Now, Prabhas joined the shoot to complete portions involving his character in this big-budget action saga which is another period drama from the actor’s filmography.

Critically acclaimed director Hanu Raghavapudi is making this film on a grand scale. Set against the backdrop of 1945, Fauji will have Prabhas in the role of a soldier serving in the British army. The film also features notable actors Mithun Chakraborty and Jaya Pradha in pivotal roles. As a pan-India project, Fauji is expected to broaden its appeal, with action sequences designed to enhance Prabhas’s already larger-than-life image.
