After the enormous box-office success of Baahubali, Prabhas emerged as the reigning pan-India superstar. Even before the release of Baahubali 2, he promised to work with several crazy directors of South India. So, he has been obliging all his commitments without fail despite earning immense popularity and stardom like no other actor in the country.
Having been occupied with multiple pan-India projects, the Saaho actor has decided not to green-lit new assignments till 2028. He is currently busy shooting for his forthcoming dystopian science fiction thriller Kalki 2898AD which is on the brink of completing its shooting formalities. He has Maruthi’s horror fantasy ‘Raja Saab’ lined up next. In the meantime, the second part of Salaar will also go on floors.
After wrapping up both ‘Salaar 2’ and ‘Raja Saab’, the Radhe Shyam actor will join forces with Animal fame director Sandeep Reddy Vanga for a cop drama titled Spirit. As Spirit is going to be a mammoth project, Sandeep Reddy needs more than a year to complete the entire filming.
The pre-production activities of Prabhas – Hanu Raghavapudi film are silently happening at present. The regular shooting will commence in mid-next year. He might simultaneously shoot for both of these films till 2027.
It is a jam-packed schedule for Prabhas till the end of 2027. So, he has decided to take up new films only in 2028 as he wants to complete the present commitments in the next four years.
While Kalki 2898AD is slated for release after Summer, Raja Saab will hit the screens in the first quarter of 2025. Salaar 2 is expected to hit the screens in Summer next year. Spirit and Hanu Raghavapudi’s film will target the subsequent years for release.
