Pan-India star Prabhas is stepping into a new genre with his upcoming film, “The Raja Saab,” a romantic horror comedy directed by Maruthi. Slated for a pan-Indian release, the film is set to hit theaters on April 10, 2025.
Prabhas celebrates his 45th birthday today. Marking this special occasion, the makers unveiled a stunning motion poster today, giving fans a sneak peek into the film. The two-minute glimpse opens with a birthday tune, revealing a palace that appears rundown. Inside, Prabhas is introduced as an aged, regal king, smoking a cigar with style. The teaser concludes with the note, “Horror is the new humor.”
The glimpse highlights Prabhas stunning new avatar with a royal and old look, contrasting with an earlier poster where he appeared youthful and cool. Fans are excited to witness his remarkable transformation in this film.
Thaman’s eerie background score perfectly complemented the haunting atmosphere of a horror film, while director Maruthi, known for his romantic horror comedies, promises to bring a fresh approach to the genre with Prabhas in the lead role.
Produced by TG Vishwa Prasad under the prestigious banner of People Media Factory, the film features Nidhhi Agerwal and Malavika Mohanan as the female leads. Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt, Anupam Kher, Riddhi Kumar, Murali Sharma, Jisshu Senugupta, Yogi Babu, and others take on significant roles.
With Rocking Star Yash’s ‘Toxic’ no longer coming on April 10, Prabhas’ ‘The Raja Saab’ will now make a grand entrance in theaters on the same date next year.
