Excitement is building around the title of Pan-India star Prabhas’ upcoming project. Directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, the film is reportedly titled Fauji. The news broke when actor Pradeep Ranganathan accidentally revealed the title at a public event, sending social media into a frenzy even before an official announcement from the makers.
The slip occurred during a promotional event for Pradeep Ranganathan’s own film Dude, which is also produced by Mythri Movie Makers. While praising the producers, he remarked, “I don’t know if I should say this, but the producers showed me some clippings from the Prabhas sir-starrer Fauji. I said they were amazing.” Realizing his inadvertent revelation, he laughed it off, but the comment added credence to reports about the film’s title.
Set as a period action drama in pre-independence India, the high-budget film will see Prabhas in the role of a powerful soldier. Social media sensation Imanvi has been cast as the female lead. With Hanu Raghavapudi, known for Seetha Ramam, at the helm, the movie promises a blend of historical action and gripping storytelling.
Prabhas’ upcoming projects, including Kalki 2898 AD and Salaar Part 2, have already generated immense anticipation. With Fauji, fan expectations are soaring even higher. While Pradeep Ranganathan’s comments have given fans a glimpse into the title, an official confirmation from Mythri Movie Makers is still awaited.
