Posani Krishna Murali Remanded for 10 Days

A court in Narasaraopet, Andhra Pradesh, has sent actor Posani Krishna Murali to 10-day judicial remand. Rayachoti police, who recently took him into custody in Hyderabad, transferred him to Andhra Pradesh.  

Meanwhile, Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader Kiran filed a complaint alleging that Posani made objectionable remarks against Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan. Following this, Narasaraopet police took him into custody today based on a PT warrant. He was produced before the court in the evening, which remanded him until March 13. He has since been shifted to Guntur jail.  

Posani faces 17 cases across Andhra Pradesh. In connection with a case registered in Obulavaripalli, authorities obtained special permission to book him under multiple sections at the Narasaraopet Two-Town police station in Palnadu district. A medical examination was conducted before he was handed over to Narasaraopet police.
