South cinema’s popular actress Pooja Hegde, who enjoys a massive fan following, is reportedly in talks to play the heroine in Nani’s upcoming project with director Sujeeth. The news has already sparked excitement and speculation across the Telugu film industry.
Once among the busiest actresses in Tollywood, Pooja Hegde’s appearances slowed after a few consecutive films failed to click at the box office. Her last major Telugu outing was in Acharya. She also impressed audiences with the special song Monica in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Coolie, starring Rajinikanth, but she has yet to regain her earlier stardom in Telugu cinema.
Currently, she is signed on for a film directed by Ravi Nelakuditi, starring Dulquer Salman. In addition to that, reports suggest she has joined #NaniXSujeeth, a stylish action-comedy project by Sujeeth, known for his signature blend of stylish visuals, high-octane action, and comedy.
Nani, who is busy wrapping up The Paradise under Srikanth Odela’s direction, is expected to start shooting for Sujeeth’s film immediately afterward. Produced jointly by Niharika Entertainment and Unanimous Productions, the film promises to be a high-energy entertainer and a treat for fans across India.
