Despite limited opportunities in Telugu cinema, Hegde continues to maintain a strong presence with 27 million Instagram followers.
In a recent statement, Pooja acknowledged that while her social media following is substantial, it does not guarantee that all her followers will watch her films in theaters. “Many superstars have fewer than 5 million followers, yet their films attract millions of viewers,” she noted. She emphasized that a large online following does not necessarily translate into theater attendance, pointing out the difference between virtual popularity and real-world box office success.
