The AP police are searching for YSRCP leader Gowtham Reddy, who has been absconding in an attempt to murder case. The High Court has rejected his anticipatory bail petition in the case of an attempt to murder against Umamaheswara Sastry in a house-grab case.
Since then, the police have already issued lookout notices to prevent Gowtham Reddy, who has been in hiding since then, from fleeing the country. Despite the availability of technology, four special teams have been searching relentlessly, but they have not been able to find any trace of him.
Since the High Court rejected his anticipatory bail petition in the attempted murder case, the police have intensified their search, but they have not been able to find his whereabouts. Checks have been intensified in all areas of Vijayawada, Bengaluru, Visakhapatnam and Hyderabad.
Searches have been carried out in many places with information collected through various channels, but to no avail. Recently, the police conducted searches at his house in Satyanarayanapuram, Vijayawada, based on information that Gowtham Reddy was present.
After getting information that he was in Madhapur, Hyderabad, a special team also checked there but could not find any trace of him. It is reported that Gowtham Reddy has filed a bail petition in the Supreme Court after the High Court rejected his anticipatory bail petition. Police believe that he has gone to Delhi for that purpose.
With this, special attention has been paid to Gowtham Reddy’s movements there. There is a possibility that he may meet someone for legal assistance. The police are investigating thoroughly to see if he is secretly maintaining contact with his close friends through other means.
The phones of the accused’s family members have also been monitored. From whom are they receiving calls? Who is talking to those numbers for a long time? The police have focused on this.
