Police concluded Pastor Praveen Died Due To Road Accident only

The police have concluded that the death of Pastor Praveen, who caused a sensation in the Telugu states, was due to a road accident only. Eluru Range IG Ashok Kumar disclosing the details to the media in Rajahmundry, said that 92 people have been examined in this case, besides CCTV footage.

Moreover, he said that their family members have not expressed any suspicion about Praveen’s death. “Praveen bought liquor three times at Hyderabad, Kodad and Eluru. He made digital cash payments over the phone. We have got clear evidence in this regard along with CCTV footage. We are revealing these things after analyzing the evidence from the Central Forensic Laboratory in Hyderabad along with the post-mortem and SFL report”, he said.

When his bike met with an accident at Konthamuru, he said that no vehicle hit Praveen. The road there was gravel and he fell into a seven-foot ditch on the side of the road at a speed of 70 kmph, he added. At that time, he said it was clear that the bullet had hit him. Therefore, he died on the spot due to severe injuries to his head and other parts of his body, said IG Ashok Kumar.

“Even when he filled up petrol at a petrol pump at Gollapudi in Vijayawada, Praveen’s condition was embarrassing. However, he moved forward. The traffic SI noticed him at the time of the bike accident at Ramavarappadu, Vijayawada and advised him not to travel” he said.

Ashok Kumar said that he lay there in the grass for more than two hours and then left for Rajahmundry. Even though his headlights were not on, he continued his journey from Vijayawada to Rajahmundry with his blinker on and was careful not to reveal his identity anywhere during the entire journey from Hyderabad,’ he added.

Ashok Kumar said that a complete scientific and technical investigation has been conducted in this case. He appealed to people not to talk about his death on social media as they wish. He said that cases have already been registered against 11 people in this matter. The IG warned that strict action will be taken against those who spread false information.
