The war of words between two chief ministers of neighbouring states Andhra Pradesh and TamilNadu- Pawan Kalyan and Udayanidhi Stalin on Sanatana dharma, resulted in filing a police case in Madurai of Tamil Nadu against Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan.
A police case has been registered against Pawan Kalyan in Madurai. A lawyer from Madurai has filed a case against Pawan Kalyan’s comments against Udayanidhi Stalin. This war of words going on between them has become interesting.
During the recent parliamentary elections, Udayanidhi Stalin, presently Deputy Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, made sensational comments on Sanatana Dharma. He said Sanatana dharma is more dangerous than corona. It is like malaria and dengue, he said while targeting BJP in the election campaign.
His comments at that time caused a lot of uproar in 2024 polls. Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself also responded aggressively to his comments. In this context, Pawan Kalyan, who visited Tirumala Srivaru after completing Prayachitha Deeksha, indirectly responded to this issue.
Although he did not mention any name, he was indirectly seen criticizing Udayanidi Stalin’s comments. He stated that some people compare Sanatana Dharma to something like dengue and malaria. But, Pawan Kalyan cautioned that no one has the courage to touch Sanatana Dharma.
He further warned if any one dares to touch it, they will be smashed. Moreover, he asserted that he is ready for any kind of struggle and sacrifices for the protection and preservation of Sanatana Dharma.
But in the wake of Pawan Kalyan’s comments the issue has become a controversy in Tamil Nadu. There is a ruckus on social media that Pawan Kalyan made these comments addressing Udayanidhi Stalin.
But Stalin himself was seen to have taken it very lightly. He just commented ‘wait and see’ and left laughing. However, his party leaders reacted aggressively. Now a lawyer filed a case against him in Madurai. Now it remains to be seen how Pawan Kalyan will react to this.
