Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the public with ‘Mann Ki Baat’ for the first time since assuming office for the third term. During his speech, he highlighted Araku coffee and expressed his personal fondness for it. Taking to Twitter, he shared, “I am a fan of Araku coffee. In 2016, I had the pleasure of discussing with then Chief Minister Chandrababu while enjoying Araku coffee in Visakhapatnam. These are pictures from that time.” Modi emphasized the significance of Araku coffee in promoting tribal empowerment.
Responding to Modi’s tweet, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu acknowledged the significance of Araku coffee in fostering sustainability, tribal empowerment, and innovation. He tweeted, “Our tribal brothers and sisters cultivate Araku coffee with love and utmost diligence. It symbolizes the limitless strength of the people of AP. Thank you, Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji, for promoting Araku coffee produced in AP. I look forward to sharing another cup of coffee with you.”
