PM Modi To Attend International Yoga Day Celebrations In Visakhapatnam on June 21

Visakhapatnam: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Visakhapatnam to participate in the International Yoga Day celebrations on June 21. As per the official itinerary, he will arrive in the city from Bhubaneswar on the evening of June 20 and will stay at the Eastern Naval Command Guest House.

On the morning of June 21, the Prime Minister will join the Yoga Day event at RK Beach from 6:30 AM to 7:45 AM. He is expected to depart for New Delhi later that day at approximately 11:50 AM.

Preparations for the large-scale event are progressing rapidly, with arrangements underway to accommodate nearly five lakh participants. The plan includes assigning one block for every 1,000 attendees, each overseen by a certified yoga trainer. These trainers are currently undergoing preparation in Visakhapatnam, supported by Andhra University, the Union Ministry of AYUSH, and the Andhra Pradesh State Sports Authority.
