As the last date to file nominations in two Telugu states ends on Thursday and the poll campaign for first two phases also completed, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is now focusing on campaigning in Telugu states. BJP is focusing on Telugu states to get maximum number of Lok Sabha seats here, so as to cover any drawbacks in its stronghold states.
Already the poll campaign in two Telugu states has reached its peak. PM Modi’s programme schedule for three days in Telangana has already been announced. He is said to be addressing poll rallies in Andhra Pradesh for two days, during the first week of May. He is visiting Telangana on April 30, May 3 and 4. On April 30, he will attend a meeting of prominent people in Hyderabad and address an election rally in Andole of Medak Lok Sabha constituency.
On May 3rd, the Prime Minister will address public meetings in Warangal, Bhuvanagiri and Nalgonda Lok Sabha constituencies. On May 4th, he will address public meetings in Mahabub Nagar and Chevella constituencies.
Prime Minister’s AP tour schedule is yet to be finalised. But, party sources said that he will participate in a road show in Visakhapatnam and address public meetings in Anakapalli, Rajahmundry and Rajampet Lok Sabha constituencies. Soon after the announcement of the election schedule, he addressed a joint rally near Chilakaluripet last month.
TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan also will participate in Prime Minister’s public meetings.
