Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu referring to changing political scenario in the state said that the script is written by God. Speaking in the Legislative Assembly, he said that it is ironic that a person insulted by former chief minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy became speaker of the house and a person wanted to be killed by them became Deputy Speaker.
He said that it is ironic that those who prevented Ramakrishnam Raju from entering the state during their regime are now unable to attend the Assembly session.
Chandrababu Naidu said ‘they said that we deprived them of opposition status. The people have deprived them of opposition status. Opposition status is not something that leaders give. It should be given by the people”. “In a democracy, no one can dictate the statuses. They say they will come only if they give opposition status”, he asserted.
Congratulating the Triple R (Ramakrishnam Raju), who has unanimously elected as Deputy Speaker of the Assembly, on behalf of TDP and also personally, Chief Minister said that
the movie Triple R created as much sensation in the film industry as your political history has created. He recalled that the song Natu Natu in this movie became as popular as the Triple R Rachabanda became.
Chandrababu deplored that all three complaints, FIRs and arrests were made against Raghurama on the same day. He said that they had conspired to put him in jail if he was arrested on Friday because there would be no court. He said that the attack on Raghurama, who was in police custody, was brutal.
He expressed anger that not only he was beaten on the soles of his feet with sticks and rubber belts, but he was also threatened with death if he told the court that he had been beaten like this. He said that even though the court had ordered him to be sent to government and private hospitals for medical tests, they tried to tamper with the report by not taking him to a private hospital.
He said that there was a delay in submitting the medical test report to the court and that even when they asked him to bring Raghurama to court, they refused to take him. CM Chandrababu said that he finally got medical tests done at the Hyderabad Military Hospital.
Chandrababu was furious that the then CM Jagan beat Raghurama with the police and got demonic pleasure by watching the scenes on his cellphone. CM Chandrababu said that at times in life, some problems arise and it is very important to face them bravely.
