It has been revealed that an outsourcing employee named Penchalayya, who was caught stealing 100 grams of gold biscuits from Tirumala Srivari Parakamani, is often involved in such thefts. He was caught in the gold theft incident at the Parakamani building. More key facts were revealed when he was interrogated.
So far, it has been found that he has stolen gold biscuits worth about Rs. 46 lakhs from the gold storage room. When the police detained Penchalayya in this case and interrogated him, shocking facts came out. Along with the 100 grams of gold biscuits, the police found that in the past, another 555 grams of gold biscuits, 100 grams of ornaments, and 157 grams of silver had been stolen. 555 grams of gold biscuits were seized from Penchalayya.
One 100 grams of gold ornaments and 157 grams of silver were seized by the Tirumala police. It is reported that the value of the seized property is approximately Rs. 46 lakhs. In this theft, the accused Penchalayya kept 100 grams of gold biscuit in the pipes of the trolley.
As part of the inspection, TTD security officials identified the gold biscuit. The security personnel who saw the gold biscuit suspected how it got into the trolley and informed the higher authorities. Penchalayya has been working as a contract employee in Tirupati town for the last two years. He is working at Srivari Parakamani through Agrigos Company.
TTD vigilance officials who investigated the incident identified the thief of the gold biscuit as Union Bank contract employee Penchalayya through CCTV camera within two hours. Veerashetty Penchalayya from Tirupati has been working as a contract employee at Srivari Parakamani in Tirumala for the last two years.
With the intention of earning easy money, he started stealing gold items from the gold storage room in Parakamani. Suspecting Penchalayya’s behavior, TTD vigilance staff kept an eye on him. On the afternoon of January 11, he stole 100 grams of gold biscuits from the gold storage room and hid them in the pipes of the trolley. When the security staff detected this during the inspection, he immediately fled from there.
