Pawan Kalyan’s Ustad Bhagat Singh Shooting Scheduled for June

Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s fans received a major update on the much-anticipated film Ustad Bhagat Singh from director Harish Shankar. On Tuesday morning, Harish Shankar visited the Tirumala temple’s VIP rest area to seek the blessings of Lord Venkateswara Swamy before commencing the film’s shoot. He participated in the rituals and offered prayers as part of the customary tradition.

Speaking to the media outside the temple, Harish Shankar confirmed that shooting for Ustad Bhagat Singh is scheduled to begin in the second week of June. He emphasized that the visit to Tirumala was specifically to seek divine blessings ahead of the project, much to the delight of Pawan Kalyan’s fanbase.

Harish Shankar, who previously delivered blockbuster hits like Gabbar Singh with Pawan Kalyan, is expected to replicate the success with this new venture. The upcoming shooting schedule is set to span approximately one month, focusing on key scenes involving Pawan Kalyan and co-star Sreeleela. Industry sources revealed that Pawan Kalyan is likely to join the shoot within a couple of days after the schedule commences.

There had been rumors on social media about the project being delayed, but the film team dispelled these doubts by releasing a special poster on Hanuman Jayanti. The poster featured Pawan Kalyan wearing a Hanuman locket and holding director Harish Shankar’s hand, signaling that the film is actively progressing and that filming will start soon.

Produced by Mythri Movie Makers with music by Devi Sri Prasad, Ustad Bhagat Singh was initially planned for a Diwali 2025 release. However, the makers now intend to bring the film to theaters in 2026.

Meanwhile, Pawan Kalyan is currently shooting for OG in Mumbai, with the film’s release date officially set for September 25. Another major project starring the actor, Harihar Veeramallu – Part 1: Sword versus Spirit, is slated for release on June 12.
