Pawan Kalyan’s ‘OG’ Receives ‘A’ Certificate, Set for September 25 Release

Fans of Power Star Pawan Kalyan are eagerly awaiting his upcoming film OG, which is scheduled for a worldwide release on September 25. The film has recently cleared the censor process and received an ‘A’ certificate due to its intense action sequences.

Following Monday’s censor proceedings, the board suggested certain modifications to the action-heavy entertainer. The final runtime was set at 2 hours, 34 minutes, and 15 seconds (154.15 minutes). Due to the high level of violence depicted, the board instructed the filmmakers to make specific changes to several action scenes. Additionally, scenes showing smoking were required to include voice-over warnings and on-screen disclaimers. The film unit complied with all recommendations, securing censor clearance.

OG, directed by Sujeeth of Saaho fame, is set to premiere a day earlier on September 24 in Telugu states. The premiere shows have been approved by the governments of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, scheduled at 9:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., respectively. The film has generated high expectations, with promotional materials showcasing Pawan Kalyan in a never-before-seen powerful gangster avatar, heightening anticipation among fans about the scale and intensity of the action.
