Pawan Kalyan’s gangster drama OG continues to receive overwhelming response from audiences both in India and overseas. Celebrating the film’s success, director Sujeeth and music composer Thaman visited Dallas, where they watched the film in a packed theatre along with fans. Following the screening, the team marked the occasion by cutting a cake and interacting with the audience. During the session, Sujeeth confirmed that both a sequel and a prequel to OG are in development. When asked whether Pawan Kalyan’s son Akira Nandan would feature in the prequel, the director declined to reveal details, stating that doing so would diminish the thrill.
At a recent success meet in Hyderabad, Pawan Kalyan had also hinted at plans for expanding the OG franchise with both a prequel and a sequel. Meanwhile, Sujeeth is currently working on a film starring Nani. Once that project is completed, production on the OG follow-ups is expected to commence. Addressing speculation that the Nani-starrer belongs to the OG universe, Sujeeth clarified that it is an independent project and will follow the style of his debut film Run Raja Run.
