Jana Sena Party chief and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan’s tirade against Tamil Nadu chief minister MK Stalin’s anti-Hindu outbursts, not received well in the social media. Many critics and even his admirers are quoting his previous Tweet against Hindi.
Speaking at Jana Sena formation day on Friday evening, Pawan Kalyan raised concerns over what he perceived as a contradiction in Tamil Nadu’s stance. “When we speak, they accuse us of insulting Sanskrit. They claim Hindi is being forced upon the South. But aren’t all Indian languages part of our culture?” he questioned.
Pointing out thatTamil Nadu continuously rejects Hindi, stating that they do not want it, he asked then why do they dub Tamil films in Hindi? His sudden love and admiration towards Hindi is believed to be due to recently growing proximity with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who has been insisting all his ministers to speak only in Hindi.
Whether the demands of DMK and Chief Minister Stalin in Tamil Nadu are fair, rational or not is another issue, that may be compulsion of his Dravidian politics. But, many felt it is reflecting inconsistency in the attitude of Pawan Kalyan.
Many in the Social Media on Saturday referring to Pawan Kalyan’s on April 23, 2017. But since Saturday morning, this tweet made by Pawan Kalyan in the past has gone viral on social media.
In this Tweet he posted an article published in Andhra Jyothi, Telugu daily, with a headline `Hindi Go Back’. He also posted an English version of the article in his Tweet.
He tweeted that the political leadership of the North should understand and respect the cultural diversity of our country. In this article, the author mainly wrote about the Narendra Modi government forcibly imposing Hindi language on the states.
It was stated in the letter that if an attempt is made to impose Hindi on the states, it will be like rekindling the language hatred that erupted fifty years ago.
Pawan Kalyan, who had previously said that imposing Hindi on the states was wrong, has now shifted gears since he is with the BJP. Pawan said in yesterday’s meeting that he will get support no matter which state he loses.
As part of that, he is also preparing to campaign for the BJP in the upcoming Tamil Nadu assembly elections. He is preparing the ground for this. That is why the Jana Sena meeting was used to target the DMK.
