How YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s government intentionally troubled Telugu films by reducing ticket prices unreasonably and not granting permissions for special shows in the last five years is open fact. This is why the entire film industry detested the previous government and openly extended support to NDA parties in the recent elections.
As Chandrababu Naidu became the Chief Minister and Pawan Kalyan is the Deputy CM of the state, Tollywood heaved a sigh of relief. The new government promised to extend all possible support for Telugu films. Prabhas’ Kalki was the first film which benefitted through ticket hikes.
Now, NTR’s Devara also got a big boost from the government in the form of ticket price hike and also special permission for screening of midnight shows and additional shows in the first ten days. As the government agreed to the request of the producers, NTR and his brother Kalyan Ram cordially extended his thanks to the government of Andhra Pradesh.
Reacting on their gratitude, Pawan Kalyan wished best of luck for Devara and simultaneously hit out at the previous government for meddling with the affairs of the films. Pawan said the government will stand by film industry irrespective of political affiliations. He said they will never stoop down like YSRCP government and trouble industry people.
“I personally know the hardship of film makers and actors what they had gone through during YCP regime.
I am wishing you very best for your film release”, added Pawan Kalyan.
It is a known fact that the collections of Pawan Kalyan’s Bheemla Nayak was impacted due to Jagan’s government which intentionally targeted his movies.
