Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has addressed the heavy rains impacting the state. He urged the public to remain vigilant as widespread heavy rainfall continues across the region. Pawan Kalyan revealed that the state disaster management department has made arrangements to provide continuous weather alerts.
He also mentioned that officials are working to relocate residents from low-lying areas to safer locations. Pawan Kalyan called on Jana Sena, TDP, and BJP cadres to assist authorities in relief efforts in flood-affected areas. He emphasized the importance of providing food, safe drinking water, and medical assistance to those in need.
Regarding the landslide incident in Vijayawada, Pawan Kalyan expressed his sorrow over the tragic loss of four lives. He described the event as unfortunate and assured that the coalition government would support the affected families. Pawan Kalyan extended his deep sympathy to the bereaved families and assured that the government would provide better medical care to the injured.
Pawan Kalyan also noted that officials reported eight fatalities due to the relentless rains sweeping across the state.
