Pawan Kalyan to observe 11 days Deeksha over Tirupati Laddu Issue

Deputy Chief Minister and Panchayat Raj Minister Pawan Kalyan announced that he will observe 11 days Deeksha starting from this September 22nd as a gesture of atonement for the desecration of lord Venkateswara Swamy through adulteration of laddu prasadam by the previous government. He took to X and expressed his pain over the contamination of the prasadam with animal remains through a heartfelt note. 

Pawan Kalyan said it is a great sin on the part of those who committed the malicious act and pleaded repentance for the issue not coming to his notice in the early stages. He stated that he will undertake Deeksha from Dashavatar Venkateswara Swamy temple in Guntur and will end it in Tirumala after 11 days. He begged the lord to wash away the sins committed by the previous government and said everyone who believes Sanatana Dharma will atone for this terrible injustice done to the Kaliyuga god, Lord Balaji. 

The controversy over Tirupati Laddu erupted a couple of days ago when Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu stirred up the hornet’s nest with his controversial statement that animal fat was mixed in the ghee used for preparation of Tirupati prasadam. A huge row followed this explosive statements after the government revealed a lab report to support its claim. 

The issue snowballed into a national issue as it hurt the sentiments of Hindus all over the country. Former CM YS Jagan held a press meet to hit out at the government for stoking up religious sentiments for the sake of politics. 

Immediately after the incident, Pawan Kalyan expressed shock and said time has come to constitute a  ‘Sanatana Dharma Rakshana Board’ at a National level to look into all the issues related to temples in entire Bharath. He called A debate has to happen at a National level by all the policy makers, religious heads, judiciary,citizens,media and all others in their respective domains.

” I think we all should come together to put an end to desecration of ‘Sanathana Dharma’ in anyform”, said Pawan Kalyan.
