Jana Sena chief and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has advised party leaders, who were nominated to various official positions in the government, should work as part of the NDA government, but not just as representatives of the Jana Sena Party.
Holding a meeting with them, he asked them not to forget the protocol under any circumstances. Prime Minister Modi and CM Chandrababu should be given due respect and move forward in line with the set goals, he said.
Reminding them that the previous government became unpopular due to the leaders’ severe corrupt practices and gross irregularities, he warned them their performance should be exemplary and should work to bring the party closer to the people and do not forget the protocol under any circumstances.
Referring to caste census by some parties, he said “ Along with skill statistics, caste census should also be taken. There is nothing wrong with that. My idea is that this should be done completely in the state”,.
While speaking to the media, Pawan Kalyan said that they should discuss only policies and programmes, but should not air personal views. If there is any problem, he asks them to bring it to his attention.
He specially congratulated all those who got nominated positions. He congratulated APMSIDC Chairman Chillapalli Srinivasa Rao, Kapu Corporation Chairman Kothapalli Subbarayudu, Kakinada Urban Development Corporation Chairman Tummala Ramaswamy (Babu) and other leaders by name.
‘All ten leaders who have taken up positions should go along. A new leadership should be created,’ he said. MLC Hari Prasad was present in this meeting.
Meanwhile, Pawan Kalyan said that it is not right for the police, who should act responsibly when road accidents occur, to act negligently. He said that the mistakes they have made will bring a bad name to the coalition government. Recently, two students died in a road accident near Tuni. He expressed deep dissatisfaction with the way the police behaved in this matter.
He said that the way the police treated the parents of the victims who went to complain about the accident has deeply upset the families. He met the victim’s family members at the camp office in Mangalagiri. He extended them a financial assistance of Rs. 2 lakh each from the ‘Pawan Kalyan Learning Center for Human Excellence’.
