Pawan Kalyan says Increase In Income Tax Exemption A Bold Decision

Stating that the decision to increase the income tax exemption to Rs. 12 lakhs has been a huge relief for middle-class employees, Jana Sena President and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan praised it as a bold decision to increase the tax exemption from Rs. 7 lakhs to Rs. 12 lakhs at once by giving Rs. 5 lakhs.

Pawan Kalyan commented that the decision to make more allocations in the 2025- 2026 annual budget announced in Parliament by the NDA central government, which has contributed more than Rs. 3 lakh crore to development programs in the state during the 7 months since the coalition government was formed in AP, is a welcome development.

Stating that the central budget is there to lead towards a developed India, he thanked Prime Minister Modi for providing invaluable encouragement to AP. He praised the central government’s lofty vision that the country and people are more important than political needs. He reminded that farmers, women and the middle class have kept everyone’s welfare and development in mind.

Pawan Kalyan said that by allocating Rs. 15,000 crores for the construction of the public capital Amaravati, which is being built as a reflection of the hopes of 5 crore people, and promising to provide more support in the future, it will be useful for the smooth and speedy construction of the capital.

Apart from approving the cost revision of the Polavaram project, the lifeblood of Andhra Pradesh, Pawan Kalyan explained that by allocating Rs. 5,936 crores, permission was given to provide water storage capacity of 41.15 meters, balance grant was announced as Rs. 12,157 crores, and an additional Rs. 54 crores were allocated to the Polavaram Authority, which helped speed up the construction of Polavaram.

He said that by extending the Jal Jeevan Mission program until 2028, it will help achieve the dream of providing drinking water connection to every household. The highest amount of Rs. 12,157 crores in the Union Budget is allocated to the Polavaram Authority. Pawan Kalyan said that by allocating Rs 2.66 lakh crore for rural development, there is an opportunity to get more funds to develop every village in the state.

He said that by allocating Rs 3295 crore to Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, the NDA government has once again proven its commitment to the conservation of the steel plant. Pawan Kalyan also said that by allocating Rs 730 crore for the development of Visakhapatnam Port, the port capacity will be increased and trade will be enhanced.

Pawan Kalyan happily announced that the state government led by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu will take advantage of the central budget allocations and work towards the comprehensive development of the state.
