Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan made it clear that their government is working for the development of tribal areas, even though they have not voted for the alliance.
Launching the `Adivasi Thalli Bata’ program in Araku Valley, he said that if a total of 90 kilometers of roads were built during the YSRCP regime, the alliance would have built 1069 kilometers of roads in 8 months. This is the difference between the alliance government and the YSRCP, he said.
Pawan Kalyan said that if there are 3700 villages in the state, roads should be built for 1177 more settlements, for which a total of Rs. 1005 crores have been allocated. He said that the money is being spent very carefully. He assured that all 12 problems brought to his attention in Pedapadu will be resolved.
He appealed to the tribal areas not to get addicted to ganja and suggested that the youth should not cultivate ganja. He assured them that many opportunities will be created for them in the tourism sector.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that after the roads are developed, ambulances are going to remote tribal areas. He said that he will talk to CM Chandrababu Naidu and Minister Durgesh for the development of Araku tourism, which will attract tourists from all over the country. He said that the coalition government will continue in this state for 15 years.
Pawan Kalyan said that Chandrababu will think of ways to benefit the state and clarified that they are aware of the difficulties among the people. He said they are committed to the all-round development of the state. Meanwhile, 167 roads have been sanctioned to Alluri Agency under the Janman scheme. Pawan Kalyan performed Bhoomi Puja by laying a gaddapara in Pedapadu village.
On this occasion, Pawan met with the villagers of Pedapadu for about two hours. Then he distributed kits to pregnant women at the Anganwadi center. He also distributed the sweet boxes he brought with him to the children in the village. The Deputy CM advised Collector Dinesh Kumar to resolve the 12 issues raised by the villagers within six months. He said that he would also try to provide more facilities to his village.
“I walked with you and saw your hardships, that is why I fought and achieved these roads”, he said. Pawan Kalyan, who reached the village after walking about a kilometer from the village and talking to the tribal women, spoke to the villagers and greeted the tribals in Oriya. He inspected the millets grown by the villagers and tasted them. RTC Regional Chairman Donnu Dora, District Collector Dinesh Kumar, and SP Amit Bardar participated in this program.
