Pawan Kalyan Responds to Boycott Threats, Credits Fans for His Rise

Deputy Chief Minister and actor Pawan Kalyan addressed threats to boycott his film Hari Hara Veera Mallu, stating that such warnings do not affect him. Speaking at the film’s success meet in Hyderabad, he questioned whether this was some kind of “Quit India Movement” and made it clear that he remains unfazed. “Do whatever you want. I have nothing to lose,” he remarked, adding that threats only show how far he has come from his humble beginnings in Nellore.

Pawan said he had faced several setbacks in life and was not one to be shaken by mere noise. “People threatening to stall my film only confirm my growth,” he said. He thanked his fans for the courage and support they consistently provide, saying that he doesn’t even know what depression feels like. “When we are strong, there will always be negativity,” he told the crowd.

The actor-politician, who usually stays away from promotional events, explained why he chose to promote this particular film. Expressing joy over its commercial performance, he noted that Hari Hara Veera Mallu received positive response from audiences and earned over ₹50 crore on its opening day. The success meet was held to celebrate this milestone.
