AP Deputy Chief Minister and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan visited the Anjaneyaswamy temple in Kondagattu, Jagitala district of Telangana on Saturday and performed special puja in the temple, following his party’s grand success in recent polls. Large number of supporters and fans thronged the temple to see him.
Earlier, Pawan traveled by road from his residence in Madhapur, Hyderabad to visit Kondagattu Anjaneya Swamy. He was greeted by the fans in large numbers who came to his residence ahead of his departure. Pawan, who is currently undergoing Varahi Diksha, went to Kondagatu to fulfil his mokkubadi.
Pawan Kalyan has visited the temple for the first time after assuming charge as Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. He had who launched his election campaign by performing pujas for his campaign vehicle ‘Varahi’ on January 24, 2023 and won all the 21 MLA seats in AP polls that he contested and became deputy CM.
First time, he visited the shrine fifteen years ago during the launch of Praja Rajyam Party, started by his brother and film star Chiranjeevi. In 2018, Pawan Kalyan again visited the temple during the launch of Jana Sena Party.
Before launching election campaign, he announced that he was starting his political career with the blessing of Kondagattu Anjaneya Swamy. En-route fans and supporters of his party and also BJP extended him a grand welcome throughout Rajiv’s Highway.
In the wake of Pawan Kalyan’s visit, massive security arrangements have been made under the direction of Jagittala SP Ashok Kumar. Pawan Kalyan is presently observing Varahi Ammavari Deeksha for 11 days, since Tuesday to celebrate his great victory in the elections. Pawan Kalyan consumes only milk and fruits during these days.
As for the first time visiting Telangana districts after becoming Deputy Chief Minister of AP, a large number of people greeted him. He received a warm welcome at Vantimamidi in Mulugu mandal of Siddipet district. Pawan Kalyan was honored there. On this occasion, he posed for photos with a sword given by his fans.
