Pawan Kalyan Opens Up on Nagababu’s Cabinet Entry

Mega Brother Nagababu’s potential induction into the Andhra Pradesh cabinet and Pawan Kalyan’s candid remarks have become the talk of the political sphere. Addressing a range of topics, Pawan spoke out about the recent controversy surrounding Allu Arjun, breaking his silence for the first time. He expressed dismay at how a minor issue was unnecessarily blown out of proportion, leaving Allu Arjun isolated in the process.

Pawan Kalyan Applauds Revanth Reddy’s Leadership
In his address, Pawan also lauded TPCC President Revanth Reddy for his unwavering support of the film industry. He praised Revanth’s decisive leadership and bold actions in standing by the creative community. Stressing the importance of empathy in public service, Pawan emphasized that visiting victims’ families promptly—ideally within two days of an incident—is a critical gesture of responsibility.

Clarity on Nagababu’s Political Future
During rumors about Nagababu’s potential role in politics, Pawan clarified the recent occurrences. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s declaration of naming Nagababu for the Rajya Sabha created discussion about the cabinet expansion shortly.

Pawan clarified that his decisions are never influenced by caste or personal favoritism but are instead guided by merit and contributions to the Jana Sena Party. He explained that while there were earlier plans to nominate Nagababu to the Rajya Sabha, strategic priorities had required postponing those plans. As a result, the focus shifted to securing an MLC position for Nagababu, which could serve as a pathway to a future cabinet role.

Pawan firmly dismissed accusations of dynastic politics, asserting that Nagababu’s potential elevation is solely a recognition of his long-standing dedication and hard work for the party.

The Current Political Landscape
Nagababu’s immediate inclusion in the cabinet appears uncertain given the ongoing political scenario. With four YSRCP MLCs having recently resigned and their resignations awaiting approval from the Legislative Council Chairman, political dynamics remain fluid. Furthermore, the terms of four more MLCs will expire in March, likely necessitating by-elections to fill those vacancies.

This sequence of events suggests that Nagababu’s appointment as an MLC—and subsequently as a cabinet minister—might only materialize after March, depending on the evolving political landscape.
