Janasena supremo and Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Pawan Kalyan has been the focal point of politics after his party created history in the recently concluded assembly elections by winning 21 out of 21 seats. Besides playing second fiddle to Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, Pawan will have to look after some of the key portfolios in the state cabinet.
Immediately after taking charge of his ministries, Pawan Kalyan swung into action and started his job as a full time politician. This is the first time in his decade long political career, Pawan has involved fully in politics for more than six months without any deviation. Previously, he used to juggle between politics and movies. So, his opponents targeted him quite often and labelled him as a part-time politician and a full-time actor.
It seems like Pawan Kalyan is very particular on not giving any chance to his opponents to criticize him after the recent elections. Right from the day he assumed the duties as Deputy CM and also as a cabinet minister, Pawan has been working efficiently and learning the ropes of administration. Despite his inexperience, he is making every effort to know about the subject of the ministry concerned through his bureaucrats and other officials under him to get hang of the things in governance.
Moreover, Pawan is also not keen on switching to movies immediately and invite comments from his naysayers. During his visit to recent public meeting in East Godavari district, Pawan made interesting comments about his films. The Power Star stated that he has got no time to shoot for his films and apologized his producers who have been waiting for his return.
Pawan openly admitted that people will criticize him if he starts doing films immediately without paying attention to the key issues that have been grappling in the state. He hinted that he will resume films only after three months if he finds time.
With these statements, Pawan Kalyan made it clear that films are no longer accorded any priority as he is keen on taking politics more seriously in the coming days. He is making sure that his opponents don’t even get a chance to make comments on him.
