Pawan Kalyan Find Fault with Allu Arjun In Sandhya Theater stampede Row

Breaking his silence nearly after over four weeks, over Sandhya Theatre stampede row, in which his nephew Allu Arjun was arrested, Deputy Chief Minister and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan found fault with Allu Arjun in the incident. Moreover, he endorsed the attitude of Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy in this issue.

In a chat with the media on Monday, Pawan felt that a small issue was unnecessary flared up as the Pusha-2 movie team failed to respond immediately with a human touch. He ruled out speculation that Revanth Reddy has acted with vengeance.

He said that Revanth Reddy was a very great leader who rose from the bottom and did not act in the manner of YSRCP policies. He blamed that there was a lack of human perspective in the matter of Allu Arjun. He believed that everyone should have gone to Revathi’s house and reassured her soon after the incident.

Pawan Kalyan said that people were angry because they did not do that. Referring to criticism against Revanth Reddy from several quarters, the Deputy Chief Minister asserted that Reddy responded in the capacity of CM. He recalled that Revanth Reddy has known Ram Charan and Allu Arjun since childhood.

He also added that  Arjun’s father-in-law is also a Congress leader. But sometimes decisions are made depending on the circumstances, he said. “I don’t think that CM Revanth Reddy did that because Arjun didn’t mention his name. Revanth Reddy is a leader beyond all this. Because Revanth Reddy increased the benefit show and ticket prices for Pushpa’s movie. And how can we blame Revanth Reddy?” Pawan Kalyan asked.

He said that people show love and support for movie heroes. He said that fans get excited when a hero comes and he doesn’t know what happened before and after Arjun. He said that a compliment or award for artists is priceless.

“We stopped going to movie theaters a long time ago. Why don’t I blame the police for such incidents? They think about security first. In Vizianagaram, I was also told not to go there first. Chiranjeevi used to go to the theater alone wearing a mask. There were times when I went like that”, he added.

However, he said that “Cinema is a team… everyone should be involved. Allu Arjun has been made the only culprit here. I think this is not right.”

Pawan Kalyan felt that the staff should have told Arjun about this before. When he went and sat down, they should have told him about the incident and taken him away. However, he made it clear that the law is equal for everyone.

If not Arjun, he felt that it would have been better if someone had gone to the victims’ houses on behalf of Allu Arjun. Then there would have been no fuss.

“Revathi’s death in this incident disturbed me. I think that what was going to be done with a shovel was brought to the axe. They should have told us in advance that we are standing by. If we don’t raise our voices… people will have a different perception of that actor”, he warned.
