Pawan Kalyan Extends Financial Help to Veteran Actress Vasuki (Pakeeza)

Popular for his generous heart on and off the screen, actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan has yet again proved why he is adored by millions. Be it his earlier days in the silver screen or the political career that he is undertaking now, the head of Jana Sena has always been with the needy ones — extending support at times discreetly without claiming the limelight.

His latest gesture of goodwill was towards the veteran actress and comedian Vasuki, also known as Pakeeza, who entertained Telugu crowds in the 1990s with memorable performances in films such as Assembly Rowdy. Unfortunately, life has been a tough one for her in recent times. Having no immediate family and no steady income, she has been fighting poverty, even finding it hard to afford daily food.

In a viral emotional video recently, Vasuki spoke about her struggles. She revealed that she had gone back to Andhra Pradesh from Chennai in the hope of availing the services of either Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu or Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan. But she wasn’t able to get an appointment.

The moment the issue reached Pawan Kalyan, he reacted promptly. Through the Jana Sena Party, he organized financial aid of ₹2 lakh, which was given to Vasuki at the party’s headquarters in Mangalagiri.

Emotionally touched by the gesture, Vasuki was overcome with emotion when she sought to thank them. She stated that if she ever got to meet Pawan personally, she would touch his feet in gratitude. She also stated that she would always be grateful to him and his family for stepping forward to help her out in such a sad moment of her life.
