Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan expressed his displeasure over comments made by actor Karthi regarding the significance of Laddus during the pre release event of Satyam Sundaram. In light of the backlash, Karthi promptly issued an apology to Pawan Kalyan via social media.
In his response, Pawan Kalyan commended Karthi for his promptness and respect for cultural traditions. He stated, “Dear Karthi, I appreciate your kindness, respect for our traditions, and your immediate response to the situation.”
Pawan Kalyan emphasized the emotional connection that millions of devotees have with the topics of Tirupati and Laddus, noting the necessity of handling such matters with care. He clarified, “My intention was merely to bring this matter to your attention, with no ulterior motive.”
Acknowledging that the mention of Laddu arose incidentally during the event, Pawan Kalyan underscored the responsibility public figures have to promote unity and respect based on cultural and spiritual values. He encouraged a collective effort to enhance these values.
