Pawan Kalyan Discusses Hyderabad Demolitions and Encroachments in Budameru

Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan made intriguing comments regarding the Hyderabad demolition drive. He noted that while the drive is targeting illegal constructions in the Full Tank Level (FTL) and buffer zones of lakes in Hyderabad, the colonies in Budameru, Andhra Pradesh, have been submerged due to encroachments.

During his visit to the Gollaprolu area in Kakinada district, Pawan Kalyan addressed the issue of encroachments. He mentioned that encroachments on lakes could be done knowingly by some or unknowingly by others. He emphasized that actions should be taken only after providing rehabilitation. According to his personal opinion, notices should be issued to the encroachers after understanding the issues and difficulties faced by the affected people, and then further actions should be taken. He also stated that he would bring this matter to the Chief Minister’s attention.

Pawan Kalyan suggested that discussions should be held with those involved in encroachments in Budameru. He acknowledged that some might have bought land without knowing it was an encroachment site. He proposed that it would be beneficial to address the issue after talking to everyone involved. He stressed the need for public awareness about constructions in river and stream areas and assured that a permanent solution would be provided for the Suddagudda stream issue. He also ordered the relocation of people from flood-affected areas to safer places.
