Pawan Kalyan Confirms Political Priority, No New Film Commitments For Now

Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and actor Pawan Kalyan has clarified his stance on balancing cinema and politics amid growing curiosity about his future film projects. Speaking at the promotional event of Hari Hara Veera Mallu, Kalyan stated that while he remains passionate about cinema, his current priority is serving the people through governance and strengthening the Jana Sena Party.

The actor-politician mentioned that he had completed pending film schedules during his limited free time. “I am not committed to any new projects. My focus will shift towards production under my own banner rather than acting,” he said. Pawan confirmed that OG is slated for release in September, and Ustaad Bhagat Singh is expected by the end of this year or early 2026. However, he emphasized that if a choice arises between films and politics, his decision will always favor public service.
