Pawan Kalyan Calls For Action Against Drug Mafia

Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan took to “X” (formerly Twitter) to address the issue of narcotics, alleging that the previous government had turned the state into a hub for marijuana and drugs. He tweeted that this has now evolved into a significant threat to the state, urging the Union Home Ministry to take action against the drug mafia.

“Drugs have become a severe threat in the state, a legacy issue inherited from prior corrupt and criminal governance. The central government should focus specifically on curbing the drug mafia, marijuana cultivation, and related criminal activities in the state. Recently, drugs seized in Visakhapatnam were linked to a business firm in Vijayawada, and there are many such cases. The drug mafia thrived under past governance. The central government must act against these criminals with a comprehensive action plan,” Pawan Kalyan tweeted. His statement is currently going viral on social media.
