Pawan Kalyan Begins Distribution of Rs 1 Lakh Each Donation To Panchayats on Monday

The film star-turned politician Pawan Kalyan has emerged as a unique personality wherever he is showing his commitment and keen concentration whatever assignments he takes up. As a Deputy Chief Minister, holding key ministries he has been showing his unique leadership qualities, though he is new to governance and for the first time in the legislative sphere.

During a period of unprecedented floods rocked Vijayawada city also, unlike other leaders he didn’t try to present himself as a `champion’ in relief operations by always presenting himself in the eyes of the people. But though confining himself to his office or relief control room, he has been extending very constructive and purposeful contributions.

By announcing Rs 6 crore towards flood relief, he has emerged as the leader who contributed the highest amount for the assistance of victims. Like other leaders, he has given Rs 1 crore each to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund of two Telugu states. And the remaining Rs 4 crore, he said he will give Rs 1 lakh each to 400 village panchayats, who were badly affected in the floods.

Probably, as a Panchayat Raj minister he seems to be focusing more to come to the rescue of suffering villagers at a time most of people’s attention concentrated on Vijayawada city. He also said that he is starting distribution of Rs 1 lakh to each village panchayat on Monday.

This was disclosed by AP Civil Supplies Minister and Janasena leader Nadendla Manohar. Nadendla Manohar disclosed this in a teleconference of MPs, MLAs and Jana Sena leader Nadendla Manohar. Manohar said that Pawan Kalyan’s assistance to Panchayats will remain as a role model in history.

Manohar said that Jana Sena leaders will directly distribute this assistance to Panchayats on behalf of the state government and also Jana Sena on Monday evening in the presence of all. Such programmes will be organised in 20 centers of six districts across the state, at 4 pm.

Manohar suggested that the sarpanchs and panchayat secretaries of the flood affected villages should come to the respective centers and receive the donation money. He said that the donation given by Pawan Kalyan should be used for the development of villages, conservation of village properties, maintenance of health camps and sanitation.
