Pawan Kalyan Announced A Thorough probe Into Saraswati Power Irregularities

Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has made it clear that there have been a lot of irregularities and irregularities in the acquisition of Saraswati Power lands and that a thorough investigation will be conducted on them. He said that 400 acres of forest land and 24 acres of assigned land have been acquired. He assured that he will support the farmers who have lost their lands.

Pawan inspected the Saraswati Power lands at Vemavaram in Machavaram mandal of Palnadu district on Tuesday. Later, he said, “Jagan’s family members are grabbing people’s properties and treating them as their own. Jagan took lands for the Saraswati Power plant in Machavaram and Dachepalli mandals’.

He further deplored that in 2009, when YSR was the CM, they forcibly grabbed lands for the company. They falsely said that they would provide jobs to the youth. So far, the power plant has not been set up. This is the problem of the people of the state.

Dr. Kodela Sivaprasada Rao, who served as an MLA for six terms, wrote a letter to the previous government asking to take away the furniture he had. However, he was harassed and killed. Jagan, who harassed him for furniture worth Rs. 20 lakhs, snatched hundreds of acres for Saraswati Power Company.

He used petrol bombs to scare the farmers for the lands. They have not been served justice to this day. 710.6 acres in Vemavaram, 273 acres in Chennaipalem, 93.79 in Pinnelli, and 107.36 in Tangeda, a total of 1,384 acres were taken from the farmers. 1,083 acres are patta land, while 76 acres are dotta land.

When forest and revenue officials were ordered to inspect Saraswati lands, 24 acres of assigned land have been identified so far. This is in Vemavaram itself. They did not even leave the land belonging to SC families. They scared the farmers, planted bombs, raided and snatched the patta lands. Saraswati Power has 400 acres of forest land.

There are also 24.78 acres related to hills, ponds and natural resources. We will conduct a thorough investigation into how much forest and assigned land there is and why the project was not started. When YS was the CM, the same lands were leased for 30 years in 2009 and when Jagan was the CM, the lease was increased to 50 years.

It was a cement factory but it was taken under the power plant for which no permissions were given. The environment and pollution boards did not give permissions. When Jagan was the CM, he gave permission to use 196 crore liters of Krishna water. I will also mention this issue in the cabinet,” Pawan said.
