Paritala Sunitha seeks probe Into Ex YCP MLA’s Rs 200 cr scam In Jagananna Housing

Former Minister and Raptadu TDP MLA Paritala Sunitha has demanded a probe by vigilance department against Rapthadu YCP Ex-MLA Topudurthi Prakash Reddy, who had resorted to over Rs 200 crore worth corruption and irregularities in Jagananna housing scam.

Paritala Sunitha accused Prakash Reddy of stealing sand, iron and cement in the name of construction of over 50,000 Jagananna houses in the name of Rockrete company. Apart from Anantapur district, Prakash Reddy resorted to fraud in Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, Eluru, NTR, Guntur, Kadapa and Palnadu districts also, she said.

She said that Prakash Reddy has sanctioned many bills even without construction of houses, only after after completion of basement. According to her, only Rs 60,000 to be paid after completion of basement. But, she wondered that Prakash Reddy created bills as if entire houses were constructed and get payments in the name of Rakreet company.

She alleged that former YCP MLA Prakash Reddy was involved in this entire rocket. Sunitha said that they have already complained to Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Housing Minister Parthasaradhi about the case.

Sunita said that the housing authorities had already prepared a report on the irregularities of YCP former MLA Prakash Reddy and submitted it to the  the government, when YS Jaganmohan Reddy was the Chief Minister. But, she alleged that Prakash Reddy managed the issue with out coming his fraud out.

She said that she has urged the Chief Minister to conduct investigation against his fraud with the Vigilance department and expose his irregularities. She warned that the present government will not tolerate such fraud and those committed irregularities cannot escape from the law.
