Maverick director SS Rajamouli, who stamped his name globally with his films Bahubali franchise and RRR, has recently confirmed the title of Jr. NTR and Prashanth Neel’s much-awaited collaboration.
Currently, Rajamouli is immersed in the production of his next magnum opus with superstar Mahesh Babu, tentatively titled ‘SSMB 29.’ In the midst of this crazy project, Rajamouli was recently flown to Japan to promote RRR: Behind and Beyond, a behind-the-scenes documentary of the Oscar-winning film RRR. While engaging with fans and media there, he was asked about upcoming films he’s excited for.
Rajamouli listed three highly anticipated projects, including Ntr and Neel’s project, Prabhas and Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit, and Ram Charan and Buchi Babu Sana’s Peddi. Interestingly, while referring to the NTR-Neel project, he accidentally revealed the title by calling it Dragon, revealing the much-speculated title.
Fans have long speculated the film’s title to be Dragon, but with Rajamouli’s comment, the title now seems all but confirmed. Dragon has recently begun shooting and is eyeing a grand release next year. On the other hand, Peddi, featuring Janhvi Kapoor alongside Global star Ram Charan, is slated for release on March 27, 2026.
