Actress Nidhhi Agerwal is all set to return to Telugu cinema after nearly three years with the much-anticipated period action film Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Part 1, starring Pawan Kalyan in the lead role. Speaking at a recent press meet ahead of the film’s July 24 release, Nidhhi shared insights into her role and working experience in the film.
Nidhhi revealed that she plays a powerful and layered character named Panchami. “It’s a grand film, and I’m thrilled to be a part of it. My character Panchami has multiple shades. The scenes between Pawan Kalyan and me will definitely entertain the audience,” she said.
Describing the film’s tone, she called it an Indian version of Indiana Jones. “There’s a major Bharatanatyam sequence which was a challenge for me. Set against the backdrop of the Mughal empire, the story is fictional, and Pawan Kalyan plays a Robin Hood-like character,” Nidhhi explained.
Reflecting on her co-star, she said, “One film with Pawan Kalyan is equivalent to doing a hundred. His stardom gives the film a wider reach. I learned a lot from him.” She also credited directors Krish and Jyothi Krishna for guiding her performance, and appreciated producer AM Rathnam for his dedication. “Some doubted the film’s progress, but the trailer cleared all speculation,” she concluded.
