Anticipation continues to mount for the upcoming high-octane action film War 2, particularly surrounding the look of Young Tiger NTR, who is set to make his debut in the YRF Spy Universe. Celebrity stylist Anaita Shroff Adajania, who is designing NTR’s wardrobe for the film, shared insights about working with the star and her approach to crafting his on-screen presence.
Speaking to the media, Anaita, known for her work across Bollywood and wife of filmmaker Homi Adajania, said her primary goal was to retain NTR’s effortless strength and masculinity while grounding his look in realism. “Working with NTR for the first time on War 2 has been an exhilarating experience. The moment he walks into a room, there’s a magnetic energy that electrifies everyone around—unforced and genuine,” she said.
“NTR has a rare ability to elevate an atmosphere with just his presence,” she added. “His smile, warmth, and calm confidence in his role instantly draw you in. He’s always known exactly who he is, and that clarity reflects in how he carries himself.”
Describing her design approach, Anaita noted, “I wanted to keep his look authentic and powerful—like a man on a mission. He has this natural rawness about him. We translated that into a rugged, functional wardrobe using leather pieces, structured silhouettes, and minimalist strength.”
She emphasized that there are no unnecessary frills or flamboyance in his styling. “His persona is straightforward and self-contained, and his wardrobe had to reflect that—sharp, impactful, and free of pretense.”
Directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Aditya Chopra under Yash Raj Films, War 2 will see NTR face off against Hrithik Roshan. Kiara Advani plays the female lead. The film is slated for a pan-India release on August 14 in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil.
War 2 is the sequel to the 2019 blockbuster War, which starred Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff under the direction of Siddharth Anand. That film marked the third installment in YRF’s ambitious Spy Universe, following Ek Tha Tiger and Tiger Zinda Hai.
