NTR Jayanthi: Jr. NTR And Kalyan Ram Pay Respects At NTR Ghat

Jr. NTR, along with his brother Kalyan Ram, visited NTR Ghat on Tuesday to honor their late grandfather on the 101st anniversary of his birth.

Today marks the 101st birth anniversary of legendary actor-turned-politician Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR). The legendary actor ruled over four decades in the Telugu film industry. In his four-decade-long career, the senior actor starred in almost 300 films and won three National Awards. The actor later turned into a politician and served as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh for seven years over three terms. He died on January 18, 1996, at his Hyderabad residence.

Remembering the legend today, Jr. NTR and his brother Kalyan Ram visited their grandfather’s memorial to pay their respects. Following the actors, numerous family members of NTR, including his son, Nandamuri Bala Krishna, also came to honor and remember his late father.

The photos and videos from the Ghat are circulating on social media, including one showing Jr. NTR and Kalyan Ram sitting on the ground in a moment of silence. Jr. NTR was seen in a white shirt paired with black formal pants, while Kalyan Ram appeared in a black shirt and a denim jean.

On the work front, Jr. NTR is currently immersed in his highly anticipated project ‘Devara: Part 1’, helmed by Koratala Siva. He will also appear in ‘War 2’, alongside Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan. Meanwhile, Kalyan Ram is working on his next, tentatively titled ‘NKR 21’ and is also producing for Jr. NTR’s ‘Devara’.
