Nimmala Rama Naidu Happy That Farmers supported coalition parties In Irrigation Unions

Minister for Water Resources Nimmala Rama Naidu expressed happiness over the overwhelming victory of the farmers, fielded by coalition parties in the water users association elections held in the state. He said that they have unilaterally supported the unity of all the parties in the alliance.

He commented that these elections have dealt a severe blow to Jagan Mohan Reddy and his party, who have weakened the irrigation sector for the last five years. The farmers, who are fed up with the anti-farmer rule of the last five years, said that not a single farmer has come forward to nominate or support Jagan’s party.

The Minister said that through the water users association elections, nearly 60,000 people have been given representation in the irrigation sector so that only farmers’ children can serve the farmers. Minister Nimmala stated that this is what a real farmer’s government is.

He said that the elected farmers will contribute a lot to further strengthening the irrigation system in the state. He made it clear that the coalition government under Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has once again proven itself to be pro-farmer.

If it won the previous general elections with a strike rate of 93 percent, now it has achieved a unanimous victory with a strike rate of 100 percent in the water users association elections. He said that even though there are many parties in the state, the government conducted the elections in a fair manner and it is a great thing to provide such a huge victory to the coalition candidates in the elections.

The Minister said that this is an all-time record in the case of farmers. He said that it has been proven once again that the farmers have stood behind the government, which represents their aspirations. Minister Ramanaidu revealed that with the cooperation of farmers, the irrigation sector will be strengthened in the coming days and water will be provided to every acre to enable the harvest of rich crops in the state.
