In light of the recent floods, the Mega Family has pledged a substantial amount of ₹9.45 crore towards relief efforts. Among these contributions, Niharika Konidela, a member of the family, has personally announced a donation of ₹5 lakh to assist flood victims in Andhra Pradesh. Her focus is particularly on ten villages that have been severely impacted by the floods in the Budameru river basin.
Niharika expressed her deep concern over the flooding in Vijayawada Rural and the resultant hardships faced by the local residents. She highlighted that rural areas are often the most affected during such natural calamities, reflecting on her own upbringing in the city and the experiences shared by her elders from rural backgrounds.
In her effort to aid the affected communities, Niharika has decided to donate ₹50,000 to each of the ten villages. She hopes that this contribution will provide some relief and is praying for the swift resolution of the crisis and the safety of all those affected.
