Natural Star Nani’s most iconic film, ‘Jersey’, celebrates its 5th year on April 19, 2024. The film was originally released in theaters in 2019. As the film marks the 5th anniversary of its release, Nani’s wife, Anjana, shares a cute video on her social media.
To commemorate Nani’s ‘Jersey’, his son Junnu played the theme song to honor the film and its significance to Nani’s career. The actor’s wife, Anjana, shared the video on her Instagram and wrote, “Celebrating 5 years of my most favourite film “Jersey” today! Last night, we binged watched some of the scenes, and I couldn’t believe how much it still moves me despite watching it multiple times.”
She added, “I can still vividly remember the experience of watching it in the theater—cheering, rooting for Arjun, Sarah, and Nani like there’s no tomorrow! Bawled too, of course! Talk about waving the greenest of green flags! Junnu just started learning the theme song yesterday and I couldn’t think of a more perfect time to post it! It’s a work in progress, but needless to say, both my ‘Arjuns’ make my heart swell with pride 🙂 Also, I’m incredibly thankful to @anirudhofficial (whom he’s never met) for lighting his love for music!”
The film ‘Jersey’ is a masterpiece in sports drama, helmed by Gowtam Naidu Tinnanuri and produced by Naga Vamsi under the banner of Sithara Entertainments. The film stars Natural Star Nani and Shraddha Srinath as the main leads. The film received acclaim for Nani’s career-top-notch performance, beautiful storyline, and Anirudh’s soulful music. Nani’s Jersey also had a Hindi version, with Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor as the main lead.
On the work front, Nani is currently gearing up for his next, ‘Saripodhaa Sanivaaram’, helmed by Vivek Athreya. Nani will also be seen in HIT 3 and in another project tentatively titled ‘Nani 33’ with Srikanth Odela.
