Tollywood actor Nara Rohit is back to entertain audiences with his upcoming film ‘Sundarakanda’. Following his latest political thriller, ‘Pratinidhi 2’, the actor shifts to his regular roles in the romantic comedy.
Directed by debutant director Venkatesh Nimmalapudi, the makers unveiled the film’s teaser today, and it looks quite hilarious. Nara Rohit plays the character Siddharth, who is in his 30s and still a bachelor. He belongs to the Mula Nakshatram and says it’s challenging for him to stay happy for more than 5 minutes. Despite being way past his marriageable age, he still searches for a partner with five specific qualities to match.
Actor Naresh plays his father role in this film, enhancing the comedy with his satirical take on Nara Rohit’s character. Leon James background score adds another layer to the cinematic experience.
Virti Vaghani plays the female lead alongside Nara Rohit, and Sridevi Vijay Kumar portrays another leading lady as she marks her comeback to Telugu cinema with this upcoming comedy drama.
Produced by Santosh Chinnapolla, Gowtham Reddy, and Rakesh Mahakalli under the banner of Sandeep Picture Palace. Apart from the main leads, the film also stars Naresh Vijaya Krishna, Vasuki Anand, Satya, Ajay, VTT Ganesh, Abhinav Viswant, Rupa Lakshmi, Sunaina, Raghu Babu, Amrutham Vasu, Adhurs Raghu, and others in significant roles.
The technical cast includes Pradeep M. Varma as the film’s cinematographer, while Rohan Chillale handles the editing. This film is scheduled for release later this year. The film team has yet to reveal the date.
