Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh expressed strong anger towards YSRCP leader and former CM YS Jagan. He criticized Jagan for relaxing in a Bangalore palace while people were suffering due to floods. Lokesh found it ironic that Jagan was criticizing CM Chandrababu Naidu, who was tirelessly working for the welfare of the people.
“Do you have the dignity to demand the position of opposition leader, Jagan? You’ve become the brand ambassador for dirty politics, making baseless accusations. If not for your passport issues, you would have flown off to London by now, but instead, you’re relaxing in Bangalore. Yet, you find it in your heart to criticize Chandrababu, who, at 74 years old, is relentlessly helping flood victims. You’ve never even handed out a simple packet of food to those in need, and everyone knows the story behind your so-called self-check donations.
Chandrababu allocated ₹464 crores for the modernization of Budameru, but during your ‘reverse governance,’ you halted the work, becoming the primary cause of the disaster. The flooding of Budameru is your responsibility – a Jagan-made disaster. You stopped modernization and repair works, and around ₹500 crores worth of 600 acres were grabbed by YSRCP leaders. Even when cracks appeared in 2022, you ignored them. For five years, there has been no proper maintenance, and you halted stormwater drain projects in Vijayawada. The current suffering of the people is due to the failures of your administration. We will overcome all these problems, and we will not rest until every flood victim receives the help they need,” stated Nara Lokesh.
