Minister Nara Lokesh made sensational comments during the Sankranti festival that many people in the sand and liquor scams will soon go to jail. He made it clear that he has not forgotten the Red Book and is doing his job. Speaking at a meeting of key leaders and activists of Chandragiri on Wednesday, Minister Lokesh said that the party will soon be rebuilt from the booth level.

He said that the work of strengthening the party will start from February and he will allocate more time for the party. He cautioned them that they will not get positions by hanging around him like this. He said that positions will come only if they work at the field level. He said that reforms need to be brought in the party.

Lokesh reminded that he is working for the third time as the National General Secretary of the party and he believed that there should be systemic changes in the party from the village to the state level. He said that 30 percent new people should come to the Polit Bureau every two years. Only then will there be a moment in the party.

He said that the people and activists had to face difficulties in the previous government and the people gave the alliance 164 seats like never before with great trust. Lokesh advised the party cadre not to make mistakes saying that they won with a huge majority. ‘We all have to work together. People are looking at us with hope,’ he said.

‘I know how much trouble the police caused in Yuvagalam. There is no way to spare anyone who has done wrong. It is not our policy to file unnecessary cases. Don’t get confused by social media and confuse me. We will not leave the issue of fraudulent votes in the Tirupati parliamentary constituency alone’, he added.

Lokesh said that a special program called Swarnandhra will be taken up from February and all the party cadres need to be participants in this. He said that our role in the coalition government is that of an elder brother and we are working with friendship.

“Even if some people speak with anger, we should be patient. If we get angry, the state and the people will lose. It is necessary to take the state forward with patience and restraint for these five years”, he said. He assured that they will fill the nominated posts by the end of the month.

“We will recognize the cadre who actively participated in the Babu Surety – Guarantee for the Future and Membership Registration program organized in the past,” Minister Lokesh told the party ranks.
