IT Minister Nara Lokesh said that Quantum Valley is being developed in Amaravati in the next 6 months with the participation of giant companies like TCS, IBM and L&T on the lines of Silicon Valley. He said that this will be a game changer in the country’s technological revolution.
He organized a road show at the Manyata Embassy Business Park in Bangalore along with representatives of prestigious GCC companies in the country. On this occasion, NSR, a world leader, has come forward to establish a unique innovation campus for global capability centers.
An agreement has been signed with the state government in the presence of Minister Lokesh to set up a state-of-the-art GCC Innovation Campus in the Madhurawada IT cluster, Visakhapatnam. Through this campus, NSR will create more than 10,000 jobs in the next five years.
Minister Nara Lokesh has asked them to work together to make Visakhapatnam the new capital of global capability centers. He has called for investments in global capability centers in Andhra Pradesh, which is rapidly developing in advanced technological fields like artificial intelligence and quantum technology. He explained that Visakhapatnam will become an IT hub.
Visakhapatnam, which is a good combination of world-class talent, strong infrastructure and visionary leadership, will create wonders, said NSR CEO Lalit Ahuja. He said that the innovation campus they are setting up in Visakhapatnam is going to become a destination for world-class prestigious companies.
Minister Lokesh, who said that global capability centers play a key role in the economic growth strategy, said that attracting international companies in this sector within a few months is their first success. He explained that they are working with several companies for a talent pipeline by strengthening the curriculum, cloud, AI cyber security, and product engineering in line with the needs of the GCCs.
Minister Lokesh announced that 12 percent of their target of achieving 5 lakh jobs in the IT and GCC sectors has already been achieved with the arrival of Google, TCS, and Cognizant. Lokesh, who also met with Irfan Razak, Chairman of real estate giant Prestige Group, and Zayed Noman, Executive Director, urged them to invest in the state.
He appealed to invest in the real estate sector of Andhra Pradesh, which has a favorable environment in all respects. He appealed to provide support for the development of pre-built infrastructure on the plug and play model. Prestige Chairman Irfan Razak assured Lokesh that he would consider investing in AP.
